Tom Zawistowski, executive director of the Portage County TEA Party, will be the keynote speaker at the Ohio Constitution Party's state meeting Saturday.
"In light of recent events in Columbus and Washington, D.C., I think it is appropriate that I would have the opportunity to address a group of hard-working, dedicated Ohioans who are trying to create an alternative to the current failed and flawed two-party system, something that national polls have recently shown Americans are hungry to see," Zawistowski said in a press release.
A recent Gallup poll showed 60 percent of Americans think the Democratic and Republican parties do a poor job of representing the American people and that a third major party is needed.
The Constitution meeting will be in Newark. More information about the meeting is available on the party's website.
