ERIC CHURCH brings HOLDIN’ MY OWN TOUR to QUICKEN LOANS ARENA on Friday, February 24th, 2017 at 8:00 p.m.
EMI Nashville recording artist Eric Church will bring the “Holdin’ My Own Tour” to Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, OH on February 24, 2017. Tickets go on-sale Friday, Sept. 30 at 10 a.m. at theqarena.com.
For the first time ever, there will be no support act on this tour. Eric Church and the ECB will play two full sets with an intermission in between.
“The way this album came together mandated we release it as a surprise, straight to our fans, as it was important for me to deliver the music the same way the creativity hit me—directly and swiftly. What I didn’t anticipate is that it left me scratching my head a little as this year was supposed to be spent writing.” Church continues, “What this year’s open schedule did afford us was time to think through the way the fans experience our music live, and it was important to us that we find a way to stick to these same principles when it came to approaching our shows, down to the way they go on sale.”
I didn't spend much time there, but it's a beloved place for singers, songwriters and musicians and the folks who love them for 30 years and two generations of Juredines.

I'll admit it.
I have a crush on Ms. Spalding and her prodigious talent. The bassist/singer/composer who is coming to the Kent Stage on Sunday Oct. 23 is also also one of most favorite interview subjects ever; smart, funny, warm friendly and expansive and let us not forget the atom bomb afro.
Spalding's traded in the 'fro for some big ass braids to help illustrate her sort of concept album/alter-ego Emily's D+Evolution (Emily is her middle name) featuring six tracks co-produced by Bowie co-hort Tony Visconti. The full stage show is also quite the theatrical audio/visual experience with Spalding acting out parts and playing and dancin and such.
Spalding was in Cleveland earlier this year but now she'll be at the Kent Stage, a much more intimiate venue. To read more or comment...
Singer/songwriter Ms. Lauryn Hill has will be embarking on another one of her short tour jaunts that’s shes been doing since the aughts and will finally be bringing her show to N.E. Ohio.
Hill will be performing at Hard Rock Live at Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park on Sunday, September 18.
Let’s be honest, Hill’s track record for live performances hasn’t been great the past decade or so. For every review or Twitter trend after she gives great performances there are other times when Hill either shows up several hours late as she did earlier this year in Atlanta cancels altogether.
In other words, buyer beware. To read more or comment...
