Michael Carney won the Best Recording Package Grammy for his art direction on The Black Keys album "Brothers."
Carney who has worked on all the Black Keys releases took the stage in finely tailored suit and admitted he was "super nervous" before thanking the band (his brother Patrick Carney and Dan Auerbach) and everyone "helped him on the path."
This year's Best Recording Package category also featured another N.E. Ohioan. Andy Taray, a Doylestown native, Kent gradutate and West Akron based owner of of ohioboy art & design and Campfire Goods was also nominated for his work on singer/songwriter Chip Taylor's retrospective collection "Yonkers, NY."
