Dave Matthews returns to Blossom in June

By malcolm Published: February 15, 2012

After taking some time off, the Dave Matthews Band is returning to the road and Blossom Music Center this June

from the desk of the DMB

Dave Matthews Band recently went into the studio with Steve Lillywhite – who produced the band's first three studio albums, Under The Table And Dreaming, Crash and Before These Crowded Streets – to begin work on its forthcoming album, which will be released this year. Details on how to order the album will be announced soon. It will be the follow-up to the Platinum-certified Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King (RCA), which debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 in 2009, making Dave Matthews Band one of only two groups in chart history to have five consecutive studio albums enter atop the chart. Dave Matthews Band – comprising Carter Beauford (drums), Stefan Lessard (bass), Dave Matthews (vocals, guitar) and Boyd Tinsley (violin) – has sold over 17 million tickets since its inception and a collective 37 million CDs and DVDs combined.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 9. Please visit for further information.
