Tell the truth if you were out somewhere and a car full of actual man-sized hip hop hamsters jumped out and started breaking it down, like in the Kia commercial you'd be more than a bit freaked out wouldn't ya?
Here comes Nicki and her "production number we'll be talking about tomorrow" for the premiere of the song Roman Holiday.
Well, that was busy and it certainly was a production.
Hmm, I think I'm done talking about it, already.
Here comes the biggies!
RECORD OF THE YEAR
Rollin In The Deep (Adele) (and the song's producer Paul Epworth won Producer of the Year)
ALBUM OF THE YEAR
21 - Adele
She seems like such a regular person who occasionally gets a bit of snot.
Congratulations, Adele, hopefully we'll get to keep her around for awhile.
And Sir Paul, doing double performance duty takes us out with some Beatles tunes, Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End with an old fashioned six guitar solo orgy help from Springsteen, Joe Walsh, Dave Grohl and Paul's guys whose names escape me at the moment.
Well as always the show was to long, but I did enjoy several of the performances, one-of-a-kind or not and I don't recall any particularly egregious, mind-boggling winners though Bon Iver's Best New Artist win was a surprise..
