Phish returning to Blossom on June 4

Reconstituted jam band PHISH will perform at Blossom Music Center on Saturday, June 4.

The band's most recent studio album Joy was released in 2009 and was a Top 15 charting record.

Aretha Tribute & Lady Gaga performs new song that sounds like old Madonna song

That was quite an opening of singing divas paying tribute to Aretha Franklin.
Martina McBride, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson, Florence Welch of Florence and The Machine and Yolanda Adams taking us through a vocally high powered medley of classic Aretha tunes including big ballads Natural Woman, Think, Until You Come Back To Me and Spirit In The Dark.

Then Lady Gaga (already a Grammy winner) reiterated her desire to be this generation's Madonna with her new single Born This Way which bears an uncanny musical and melodic resemblance to Madge's "Express Yourself."

Black Keys win Best Alternative Music Album Grammy

West Akron's own The Black Keys are 2-2 at the 53rd Annual Grammy as Patrick Carney and Dan Auerbach took home Best Alternative Music Album Grammy for Brothers.

The pair took the stage and quickly thanked their record label, friends family and Akron.

Bob Seger returns to Quicken Loans Arena in April

Yes, N.E. Ohio favorite and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band will perform at "Da Q" on Thursday April 7.
Anyone who saw Seger's return to the road during his 2006/2007 tour, knows that the 65 year old singer's trademark, husky and soulful voice is still in great shape and the Silver Bullet Band which contained several original members was on fire.

Tickets for the show go onsale at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 11 for the surprisingly reasonable price of $65.
