Motley Crue lead singer Vince Neil is a rock n' roll lifer and as such he wouldn't let a little thing like a broken foot stop him from rocking out for and with fans.
According to fan site Motleyshout.com, Neil, hurt his foot on a step that had been recently added to the band's stage, and at one point even told the Blossom crowd that he thought he had broken his foot. Afterwards Neil tweeted a pick of the affected phalanges and an apology
Cleveland tonight. Paramedic's think I broke my foot. I hope not. Getting X-ray tomorrow in Toronto. Thanks Cleveland for understanding!!
The 51 year old frontman will now be rocking with a cast for a few weeks while his foot heals, and Neil who has continued touring after injuring himself before, will likely keep rocking as he tweeted.
Motley Crue released a statement on their Facebook page saying
While Vince Neil sustained two fractures in his foot during last night’s show in Cuyahoga Falls we’d like to let everyone know that this injury will not affect upcoming shows on The Tour with Kiss.
Tonight’s show in Toronto will go on as planned, though perhaps with a few less high kicks from Mr. Neil. Vince would like to sincerely thank everyone who has reached out with well wishes!
And Neil followed that up with a tweet:
To my fans- Thnxs 4 ur support. I have 2 fractured bones. The show must go on!! I'm sorry I won't be able to give you the show you deserve!
The band has nine dates left on it's joint tour with Kiss.
