Chrissie Hynde releases debut solo single "Dark Sunglasses" album, "Stockholm" due out in June

Yep...After a few decades fronting The Pretenders (which easily could've been called Chrissie Hynde and the Pretenders after original bandmembers James Honeyman-Scott and Pete Farndon died in the early 80s), Firestone High own Chrissie Hynd will be releasing her debut solo album STOCKHOLM on Monday, June 9.

Scott Asheton, Stooges Drummer dead at 64

Iggy & The Stooges drummer Scott Asheton, who played with the pioneering proto-punk band from their earliest days in 1967 through their 2013 LP Ready to Die, died Saturday due to an unspecified illness. He was 64.

Black Keys/WABL jersey sales reach $15,000 in three days

The specially designed Black Keys/West Akron Baseball League jerseys for
sale on the band's web site, have earned more than $15,000 since being
made available Monday morning.


  All of the proceeds from the jerseys sales available at theblackkeys.com
will go to the WABL in which both Patrick Carney and Dan Auerbach played
as youngsters in Akron.
