Massillon bred Maybach Music associated emcee Stalley has released his latest mixtape "Honest Cowboy."

Jazz/Fusion/R&B keyboardist George Duke dead at 67

By Malcolm Abram Published: August 6, 2013

Bummer, One helluva musician whose resume included stints with Frank Zappa, Cannonball Adderley, Flora Purim, Billy Cobbham, Quincy Jones, Stanley Clarke, Michael Jackson, Miles Davis and many, many more. Along with his 30 plus year solo work that included a few R&B hits such as "Dukey Stick," Duke was a first call studio musician whose ability to careen from jazz, smooth jazz, R&B and fusion as well as make those old school 1970s synths sound soulful was unsurpassed.

Duke dies just about a year after losing his wife Corine to cancer for whom he dedicated his most recent (and last) album Dreamweaver which was released in July..

How can you NOT be excited about this, especially if (like me) you actually watched the bro/sis duo's variety show back in the 1970s (Donny Osmond playing keytar while he sings "Superstitious!?" Hell Yeah!)

Oh, I'm probably not going to go (though I might) but I'm really stoked by the concept.

John Legend coming to Cleveland in the Fall

By Malcolm Abram Published: August 1, 2013

Singer/songwriter John Legend has been around longer than you think. Sure most folks were introduced through his debut hit single "Ordinary People" but you likely heard his talent before that in stuff such as Kanye West's "All of the Lights", Slum Village's "Selfish," Jay-Z's "Encore", and he sang backing vocals on Alicia Keys' 2003 song "You Don't Know My Name", and he played piano on Lauryn Hill's "Everything Is Everything".
