Legendary Drifters show at Kent Stage postponed until February

So sorry, fans of classic doo-wop.
The Legendary Drifters show scheduled for Friday, September 17 at the Kent Stage has been rescheduled for Saturday, February 5.

The vocal group whose string of hits include classic early rock n' roll songs such as Under The Boardwalk, This Magic Moment and Save the Last Dance for Me, Some Kind of Wonderful and Up on the Roof, and On Broadway currently headed by tenor Lee Logan who has sung with the original Legendary Drifters for almost 40 years and is currently joined by Yohan Harbin, Jerry Hendrix and Ed Collins.

"An Evening for Chuck” raises money for pancreatic cancer research with music, food & art

On Sunday, from noon to 6 p.m. downtown music club Musica will host the fifth annual An Evening for Chuck
The afternoon length event will feature art, music and food with the proceeds from the $10 donation at the door going to benefit the Lustgarten Foundation for pancreatic cancer research.

The music will be provided by area bands including the rocking octet, Tofu Fighters, contemporary soul band Winslow and blues singer-songwriter Kristine Jackson, poet T.M. Göttl and new group (featuring ZACH) The Bodhis. The headliner will be local singer/songwriter ZACH with his full band and with help from Nova Scotia based singer/songwriter Carmel Mikol for a multi-media performance.
