Soul singer Bettye LaVette coming of a critically acclaimed 2010 album Interpretations: The British Rock Songbook has prepared her next album also consisting covers including a cover of the Black Keys I'm Not The One and Gnarls Barkley's Crazy
Here's what the soul legend told Rolling Stone magazine about recording the BK tune.
"I find it interesting and thoroughly entertaining to add age and experience to young writers' songs and inhabit them myself," says LaVette.
"I'm not sure what he was talking about, but I'm saying don't f**k with me."
