Stone Temple Pilots fans Rejoice!
Sorry about the Grammys blog, had some technical difficulties with the hamster that powers my Googlebox.
And now for someting completely different.
Rolling Stone reports...
The rumors are true: A reunited Stone Temple Pilots will headline this yearâs Rock on the Range festival in Columbus, Ohio. It will be the bandâs first concert in seven years. Last week, Scott Weiland, currently the lead singer of Velvet Revolver, entered a rehab center after a recent DUI arrest, throwing VRâs planned Australian tour (and Weilandâs own drunken claims that STP would reunite) in jeopardy. However, VR guitarist Slash also confirmed the Stone Temple reunion, proving it wasnât just Weilandâs delusion. As of yet, no other STP dates have been revealed. The Rock on the Range festival runs May 17th & 18th at Columbus Crew Stadium, and tickets go on sale on Saturday, February 23rd.
I didn't miss them but they do still have many fans and won't it be special that the big show is happening right in OHIO.
Besides it could have been worse.
Candlebox anyone?
