Day breaks: Thad Matta and his Buckeyes bench

We talk in the office a lot about Ohio State basketball and Thad Matta.

He has done a great job geting high-profile recruits to come to Columbus. And the teams have performed well, although falling short of winning national titles.

The one question has been his use of players. He really keeps the rotation to six or seven players. It would seem to me that with the way he recruits that he should be able to get that rotation to, at least, eight or nine. What do you think?

Here is a story about two more players leaving his program yesterday. 

Quick thoughts.

* The Indians looked good over the weekend, bashing the Royals. They should be able to build on that weekend with games against the lesser Mariners and A's the rest of this week. * We are in the final week of talk before the NFL actually holds its draft. I think the Browns will stay at No. 4 and take running back Trent Richardson. If they trade out of the top 10, that is not a good sign. At some point, Tom Heckert has to select an elite athlete.
