Jimmy Haslam says Pilot Flying J being investigated by FBI, IRS over rebates to trucking companies
The Knoxville News Sentinel is reporting Pilot Flying J CEO Jimmy Haslam said today the raid Monday on his company was part of a federal criminal investigation into claims of failure to pay rebates to trucking customers.
Haslam, the Browns owner, said during a news conference that “It does not involve any tax issues. To my knowledge, there was no evasion of state or federal taxes involved.”

Second search warrant issued against Jimmy Haslam's Pilot Flying J company
The Knoxville News Sentinel is reporting that a second search warrant was issued against Pilot Flying J, the company owned by Browns owner Jimmy Haslam. The newspaper also is reporting that the situation is being termed as a long-term investigation by the FBI and IRS. Also no arrests have been reported.
