Acme Fresh Markets opened a new growler station today at its North Canton store on North Main Street. It’s the third store in the Akron-based grocery chain to start offering draft beer to go. The others are in Coventry Township and Cuyahoga Falls. The stores have six rotating taps. "It's been really successful,” said Jon Albrecht, the beer buyer for Acme. The reusable growler costs $3.99. The beer is extra and the cost depends on the brand. The beers available now at the North Canton store are: Leinenkugel Summer Shandy, Lefthand Milk Stout, Founders Dirty Bastard, Avery Maharaja, Southern Tier IPA and Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale. Acme updates its Facebook page each Friday to let customers know what’s available.
