Craftbeer.com has put together an online graphic featuring a map of the U.S. with brewery logos from every state to help celebrate the eighth annual American Craft Beer Week, which runs May 13-19. Ohio is represented by Willoughby, Weasel Boy, Granville, Market Garden and Blank Slate. "No Red State or Blue States. Only Brew States," the graphic says.
Ameircan Craft Beer Week celebrations are expected to take place in all 50 states.
“The popularity of American Craft Beer Week is indicative of the craft beer renaissance that continues to captivate the U.S.,” Julia Herz, publisher of CraftBeer.com and craft beer program director at the Brewers Association, said in a prepared statement. “This week is about uniting for a common cause: support and celebration of our nation’s small and independent brewers and the millions of beer lovers who have helped evolve an industry and put the U.S. on the brewing map.”
New this year is the American Craft Beer Week Coast to Coast Toast at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT May 16. To find a toast location near you, go to the official American Craft Beer Week page.
