Anheuser-Busch InBev to raise prices

By Rick Published: July 20, 2011

Reuters reported Tuesday that Anheuser-Busch InBev, which has a brewery in Columbus, plans to raise prices by 3 to 5 percent in October. The move is being made because of higher commodity costs, the wire service reported. The increases will go into effect Oct. 3 and will vary by brand, Reuters said. Anheuser-Busch -- maker of Budweiser and Michelob -- last raised prices in September 2010, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.
