More than 1,500 Anheuser-Busch In-Bev employees across the United States, including Ohio, won't be at work today (Sept. 23). Instead, they'll be visiting bars, restaurants and grocery stores to promote the use of designated drivers as part of "Global Be(er) Responsible Day." Kevin Lee, general manager of the Anheuser-Busch Columbus brewery, and Columbus brewmaster Jason McKibben, along with distributor Columbus Distributing Co., are participating. "We put a lot of effort into making the highest quality beers, and we want to ensure our products are enjoyed responsibly," Lee said in a prepared statement. "Our employees understand that we all have an important role to play in promoting alcohol responsibility because no one benefits from the misuse of our products."
