Here are two beer-related stories from Ohio:
-- Columbus Alive has a short Q&A with Barley's Brewing brewmaster Angelo Signorino. When asked what people don't realize about being a brewer, he responded: "If I drank all day I wouldn’t be able to do my job. I wouldn’t make good beer. I taste everything at every stage in the process, but rarely do I get a glass of beer and drink it while I’m at work. After work, that’s different." To read the full Q&A, click here.
-- The Cleveland Plain Dealer has a story about Nano Brew Cleveland, the new brewpub that opened in Ohio City. "Andy [Tveekrem] is regressing to his home-brewing roots," co-owner Sam McNulty told the newspaper. "Here he'll be brewing one barrel of beer at a time. Twenty gallon batches. This is going to be his play pen. He can indulge his passion for new ingredients and creating new beers." To read the full story, click here.
