Hear are several Ohio-related beer stories:
-- Bru, the new brew-on-premise business in Columbus, is open, Drink Up Columbus reports. "Bru has a full bar boasting 30 taps, five of which are currently filled with Bru’s own beers, 10 total by the end of next week," the website says. To read the full story, which includes photos, click here.
-- Speaking of Drink Up Columbus, the website also started a new feature called "So You Want to Start a ..." The first installment is about starting a brewery and focuses on Dan Cochran of Four String Brewing Co. in Columbus. "There were a lot of challenges I didn’t anticipate," Cochran tells author Craig Baldwin. "It was way harder than I thought, and I thought it was going to be tough. To read the story, click here.
-- The Columbus Beer Examiner has an interview with Geoff Towne, the owner and brewer at Zauber Brewing Co. "The taste buds of those in Michigan and Colorado are no different than Ohio," Towne tells author Amanda Forbes.
