-- The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that Fat Head's owner/brewer Matt Cole is headed to England to make another collaboration brew with an English brewery, this one at Batemans. He did the same back in 2011. "We’re basically brewing more of a session IPA," Cole told the newspaper. To read the full story, click here.
-- The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that Market Garden Brewery and Heinen's grocery store collaborated on a new beer called Bernie Beer, named for former Cleveland Browns quarterback Bernie Kosar. Heinen's beer buyer Ed Thompkins told the newspaper that he thought it'd be a neat idea after seeing a brew named after former Chicago White Sox slugger Frank Thomas.
