Bock and Rock festival in Minster
The fourth annual Bock and Rock beer festival is Saturday (July 30) at Four Seasons Park in Minster in western Ohio. The beer tasting features more than 30 brewers and more than 80 beers. The special guest this year is Luke Purcell, brewmaster at Great Lakes Brewing Co. in Cleveland. He will provide a breakdown of Great Lakes beers during the special VIP portion of the event, which begins at 4 p.m. The general admission portion starts at 6 p.m. VIP tickets are $40, while advance general admission tickets are $20. Each admission comes with 15 sampling tickets and a sampling glass. The event is sponsored by the Minster Civic Association. For more details, including a breakdown of the brewers, click here. Minster, by the way, is home to the Wooden Shoe Brewing Co.
