Burning River Barley's Angels sets first event
Burning River Barley's Angels, an organization for women who enjoy and want to learn more about craft beer, will hold its inaugural event from 7 to 10 p.m. Jan. 12 at the ABC Tavern in Cleveland. The event will feature a three-course beer pairing dinner guided by ABC Tavern owner Trace Althoff. Tickets are $25.
The Burning River Barley's Angels chapter was founded last month by local hombrewer Heather Ramsey "as she recognized the female contingent of beer lovers in Cleveland," a news release said. There are Barley's Angels chapters in six countries. The Cleveland chapter is the only one in Ohio, according to the website.
