Christian Moerlein will release Moerlein Saengerfest Maibock with a ceremonial tapping on at 6 p.m. April 28 at Neon's Unplugged, 208 E. 12th St., Cinicinnati. The brewer describes Saengerfest as a well-balanced golden lager with spicy and floral noble style hops. Moerlein Saengerfest Maibock, which has 6.5 percent alcohol, will be available starting May 1st at participating retailers and be available in draft and six packs with a suggested retail of $8.99. “It's a great day in Cincinnati brewing history when you can symbolically relive moments of our city's heritage in such an authentic way,” said Greg Hardman President and chief executive officer of Christian Moerlein Brewing Co. referring to the Moerlein Saengerfest Maibock keg tapping event in Over-the-Rhine with the Kolping Saengerchor a local German singing society.
