Cincinnati brewers set beer lineup
The beer lineup is nearly set for Cincinnati's Craft Beer Oktoberfest taking place Saturday at Listermann Brewing.
The beer festival will feature only Cincinnati breweries: Mt. Carmel, Rivertown, Blank Slate, Triple Digit, Christian Moerlein, Rock Bottom, Cellar Dweller, Wiedemann, 50 West and Quaff Bros. The Blotarian Brewing League also will be there all day brewing beer. (See map below.)
Here's what each brewery is bringing:
Listermann: Oktoberfest
Triple Digit: Chickow (a new release)
Blank Slate: Fork in the Road (a new release)
Mt. Carmel: Harvest
Rivertown: Pumpkin
Wiedemann: Wiedemann Special Lager
Christian Moerlein: Rye Brown Ale (a new release)
50 West: Harvest and Hefe.
Cellar Dweller: IPA
Quaff Bros.: Honeyed Brown Chicken Brown Cow, Puff the Magic Bison
Rock Bottom: To be determined.
In addition to beer, there will be sauerkraut, pretzels and live music. The event kicks off at 8:30 a.m. with Kegs and Eggs, served with Listermann Friar Bacon Smoked Bock. The music lineup: 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. This is a Knife; 11:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Zinzinnati Bier Band; 3:30 to 6 p.m. Cincinnati Side Cars; and 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. Scotty Anderson Band.
