Coors Light has surpassed Budweiser in sales and is now the second best-selling beer in the United States behind only Bud Light. Budweiser, known as the King of Beers, has fallen to the third, according to Beer Marketer's Insights. "Anytime you can dethrone the king, it's special," MillerCoors spokesman Pete Marino told Advertising Age. "We will celebrate this great accomplishment appropriately with our entire system who has worked hard to deliver outstanding growth on Coors Light for the past seven years."
