Crabbie's enters Ohio market
Crabbie's Original Alcoholic Ginger Beer -- claimed to be the United Kingdom's best-selling bottled beer -- recently made its debut in the United States and Ohio. As you might gather from the name, the beer is made with ginger and carries the advertising slogan "Refreshing Ginger Beer Only for Grown-Ups."
“Crabbie’s is a great alternative for people who like to drink beer or cider, with no equal in today’s American market,” St. Killian Importing general manager Phil Clarke said in a prepared statement. “With the current U.S. explosion of beers brewed with herbs and spices, we can’t imagine a better time to introduce Crabbie’s to America’s discerning drinkers."
Crabbie’s is available in a four-pack of 11-ounce bottles and a 16.9-ounce bottle. The distributor says it can be found at retailers, restaurants and bars in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.
