The website Drink Up Columbus has a story about the new Zauber Brewing Co., which is slated to open this coming year in the state capital. Brewer Geoff Towne tells the site that he loved attending the brewing program at the University of California at Davis. “It was an eye-opening experience on so many levels," he said. "I went to UC Davis thinking I wanted to work with one of the big breweries, and I walked away thinking, ‘No way.’ I actually got an offer from Anheuser-Busch that I turned down.
