Fat Head's Brewery announced Thursday that it will release Hop JuJu Imperial IPA, which won a gold medal at the Great American Beer Festival, in bottles starting in February.
"This supernatural beer features a 'reckless use of hops' giving it aromas and flavors of citrus, pine and tropical fruit with a juicy, resiny hop finish," the brewery said in a news release. "Witchcraft? Maybe just a little."
The brewery also announced that Oompa Loompa Chocolate Cream Stout, made with Belgian dark chocolate and Madagascar vanilla beans, will be released in January on draft and in six-packs.
And in March, Sunshine Daydream Session Ale will join Head Hunter IPA and Bumble Berry Honey Blueberry Ale in year-round production. Sunshine Daydream is described as having "bright, tropical citrusy notes, and undertones of pine and grapefruit with a nice light malt backbone."
Fat Head's operates a production brewery and tasting room in Middleburg Heights, a brewpub in North Olmsted and a restaurant in Pittsburgh. It also is opening a brewpub in Portland, Ore.
