Former Hudepohl brewery for sale
The former Hudepohl brewery in Cincinnati is going up for auction on Tuesday. The opening bid is $250,000. The brewery was opened in 1885 by Ludwig Hudepohl II.
Hudepohl has a storied history in Cincinnati. But it fell on hard times and was sold to rival Schoenling Brewing Co. in 1986. Later, all production was shifted to the Schoenling brewery, which was sold in 1997 to Boston Beer Co.
Hudepohl is now made by Christian Moerlein, which also makes the Little Kings and Burger brands.
