“After two years of self distributing out of my SUV, I’m excited to have Superior taking over,” Four String brewer and owner Dan Cochran said today (Oct. 11) in a prepared statement. “In my research and conversations with local bar managers, Superior came up time and time again as the best choice for me. They bring great sales and customer service to the table, as well as evident craft beer market expertise.”
Four String beer is available on tap at about 75 bars in Central Ohio. Using Superior for distribution, the brewery hopes to increase accounts.
“We’ve been longtime fans of the quality beer that Four String produces and are excited to utilize our knowledge and resources to help them expand,” Superior brand manager Geoff Randolph said in a prepared statement.
Four String has capacity to produce 2,500 barrels of beer a year, but hopes to increase that to 10,000 barrels by the end of 2014.
