Four String Brewing Co., a production brewery and tasting room in Columbus, will soon join the growing list of Ohio brewers to can its beer. The brewery will release Brass Knuckle American Pale Ale in 12-ounce cans within the next 90 days. The beer will be available in six-packs at local retailers.
"We’ve been looking forward the last couple of years to getting packaged beer in stores," owner Dan Cochran said.
Brass Knuckle is the brewery's flagship brand. "It’s a dry-hopped American pale ale under 6 percent alcohol by volume with a citrus and pine aroma and a dry bitter finish to it," Cochran said.
Four String will use Buckeye Canning, a mobile canning operation, to put the beer in cans. Cochran also has plans to release Big Star White IPA in a can.
