“Great Lakes is committed to supporting events in our backyard and ensuring that Clevelanders know we offer much more than our popular core brands,” brewer Luke Purcell said in a prepared statement. “This collaboration project is a great way to showcase the talents of our brewers and create something fun for World Beer Festival.”
What's the beer? Well, apparently that has to wait until tomorrow. The partners will release the style and chat about the upcoming event via Google Hangout at 3 p.m. Wednesday.
The collaboration beer will be brewed May 21 at Great Lakes. It will be served at the festival, at a kickoff event to World Beer Fest celebration and be available at some retail locations in the Cleveland area. More details about the kickoff celebration will be released soon, the statement said.
The World Beer Festival—Cleveland is June 14 at Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica. For more details or tickets, click here.
