Great Lakes Brewing Co. in Cleveland announced plans today to enter the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill market, also known as "The Triangle," late next month. The brewery has been distributed in Charlotte and Greensboro since March 2010. "We've been courted by distributors all over North Carolina for a number of years now, and there's a large population of Ohioans clamoring for our product down there," co-owner Patrick Conway said in a prepared statement. "We are committed to our methodical growth and look to penetrate deeper in the states we currently serve. Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill presents an excellent opportunity, and we look forward to providing our customers with the products they love." Great Lakes serves 12 states and Washington, D.C.
