Great Lakes sets 2013 seasonal lineup
Great Lakes Brewing Co. in Cleveland is adding two new beers to its 2013 seasonal lineup. "Alchemy Hour Double IPA and Rye of the Tiger IPA will satisfy hopheads and adventurous craft beer enthusiasts with bold but balanced flavor profiles," the brewery said in a release.
Alchemy Hour -- a double India pale ale at 9.4 percent alcohol by volume -- will be available in February in four-packs. The name stems from a West Coast term for when the waves are breaking just right and you can ride them forever.
Rye of the Tiger -- an India pale ale at 7.5 percent alcohol by volume -- will be available in April in six-packs and 12-packs.
The rest of the seasonal lineup is: Conway's Irish Ale in January, Lake Erie Monster Imperial IPA in May, The Wright Pils in June, Oktoberfest in July, Nosferatu Imperial Red Ale in August, Christmas Ale in November and Blackout Stout in November.
