Hoppin' Frog releases special BORIS
Hoppin' Frog Brewery in Akron has brewed a special batch of BORIS The Crusher Oatmeal-Imperial Stout for Cleveland Beer Week, which runs through Oct. 27. The beer, called Cleveland Crusher, is available on draft at bars and restaurants.
The beer is based on BORIS but was made with Belgian chocolate malt instead of roasted malt. "This creates a richer, smoother, more chocolatey flavor -- the perfect complement to this dark, full-flavored stout," owner Fred Karm said in an email.
