Hoppin' Frog releases Wild Frog Wheat
Hoppin' Frog Brewery in Akron will be open today (July 3) and the Fourth of July for retail sales and to release its seasonal Wild Frog Wheat Ale, a German wheat beer. The beer is made with white wheat.
The brewery will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday. Hoppin' Frog is then closed for the remainder of the week.
Speaking of Hoppin' Frog, the brewery earned a special mention in the Boston Globe last week. Beer writer Steve Greenlee wrote a farewell column and cited Hoppin' Frog's D.O.R.I.S. the Destroyer as one of his many favorites.
