"Inspired by our cold winters, we use a special, very high quality dark-roasted European malt in place of the roasted barley in our B.O.R.I.S. Stout, creating a smoother roasted flavor and richer aroma," owner and brewer Fred Karm said in an email. "Cleveland Crusher celebrates our heritage by capturing this type of ingenuity and inventiveness that helped put our region on the map!"
The beer will be available in 22-ounce bottles for $8.99. The Zydeco Bistro food truck also will be at the brewery from noon to 1:30 p.m. At 5 p.m., The Tasting Room will tap the first keg and offer food made with Cleveland Crusher.
