Hudepohl 14K Brewery Run returns after 10 years
Cincinnati artist Jim Effler will join the festivities at the Mt. Adams Oktoberfest by unveiling and signing of a commemorative poster for the Hudepohl 14K Brewery Run. After a 10-year hiatus, the Hudepohl 14K Brewery Run returns at 8 a.m. Saturday (Sept. 17) to kick off Oktoberfest Zinzinnati. The event includes a 14K run, 7K run, two tethered runs (runners tethered together for the entire distance) and the WEBN Bier Laufen –- a soapbox derby race. Effler, known for creating Bockfest art and Christian Moerlein beer labels, was commissioned by Christian Moerlein Brewing Co. to create the run's commemorative poster. The posters will be offered for sale at the Mt. Adams Oktoberfest for $10 each and Effler will sign posters beginning at 7 p.m. The Mt. Adams Oktoberfest runs from 6 to 10 p.m. on Pavilion Street.
