Indigo Imp Brewery is changing its packaging. The Cleveland brewery has dumped the six-pack paper box for a plastic six-pack handle from PakTech. (See provided photo) The handle has a secure grip around each bottle and yet a simple tilt and pull of the bottle releases it, the brewery says.
Indigo Imp says it switched for multiple reasons, including the handle providing better visibility on the store shelf for beer labels; it’s less expensive than printing the paper packaging; and it’s environmentally friendly with the handle being recycled plastic.
The bottles also now feature a neck tag with information about the brewery and the beer, including tasting notes, food pairings and original recipes using Indigo Imp beer.
