Jackie O's bottle release on Saturday
Jackie O’s Pub & Brewery in Athens will hold one of its special bottle releases Saturday. That’s when the brewpub, which normally doesn’t bottle, sells … well … bottles. Jackie O’s fans usually descend upon the brewpub and turn the event into a party.
The brewpub will have Baklava Braggot, Kentucky Monk, and Vanilla Bean Rum Barrel Dark Apparition available in bottles. Brewer Brad Clark also plans to have 28 different beers on draft, according to his blog.
As usual, people can grab a ticket starting at 5 p.m. Friday and that will determine your spot in line the next day for the bottle sale. The brewpub doors will open at 9 a.m. Saturday. Unlike previous bottle releases, Jackie O’s will accept cash only for the bottles and other purchases. (Credit cards can be used at the bar.)
For more details, including prices for the bottles, check out Clark’s blog by clicking here.
