Ken Stewart's Grille in Akron will hold a special five-course beer dinner featuring Christmas brews at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 26.
The "Holiday Beer Dinner" will pair Indigo Imp Winter Soul with a Belgian endive cup, Widmer Brothers Brrr Seasonal Ale with Nueske bacon-wrapped scallop, Thirsty Dog 12 Dogs of Christmas with chicken sausage and spiced apple risotto, Summit Winter Ale with venison stew, and Great Lakes Christmas Ale with cinnamon infused panna cotta.
Akron Beacon Journal beer writer Rick Armon will attend and talk about the beers and breweries.
Tickets are $50, plus tax and gratuity. Reservations are required and can be made by calling event director Terry Kemp at 330-697-6917 or the restaurant at 330-867-2555.
