Maxim magazine highlights Cleveland bars
Maxim magazine devotes the July edition of its "The Great American Bar Search" to Cleveland. It's not an indepth article, but just a one-page list of eight places to visit on "Your Eff-LeBron Tour," as the magazine puts it. The rundown: Deagan's Kitchen & Bar, Buckeye Beer Engine, Melt Bar & Grilled, The Harp, Happy Dog, Prosperity Social Club, ABC the Tavern and McNulty's Bier Market. Each location gets only a one- or two-sentence explanation. As for the Beer Engine: "Beer snobs will wet themselves amid the nearly 30 local brews on tap. (Warning: Requests for Bud Light will be shot down.)" The magazine also recommends tasting Great Lakes Brewing Co.'s Lake Erie Monster.
