Miller Lite launches "internship" contest

By Rick Armon Published: March 15, 2013

millerliteMiller Lite is partnering with 20th Century Fox’s summer comedy The Internship to offer four friends a special two-week "internship” that will take them across the country in a customized recreational vehicle for a series of Miller Lite events.

Now through April 7, beer drinkers who are 21 and over can enter on the Miller Lite Facebook page. Sets of four friends must enter together.

The winners will stop in Philadelphia, Charlotte, Milwaukee, Chicago, Dallas, Las Vegas and Los Angeles. The stops will include delivering beer to a pool party in Vegas, going behind the scenes to see how Miller Lite is brewed, becoming honorary members of Brad Keselowski’s NASCAR pit crew on race day and walking the red carpet in Los Angeles for the premiere of The Internship movie.

“Our partnership with The Internship film led us to wonder, what would a dream internship with Miller Lite look like?” Ryan Reis, senior director of marketing for Miller Lite, said in a prepared statement. “Miller Time is all about great times over a beer with good friends, so the winners had to be a group of friends rather than an individual. And to deliver on the great times part of that equation, we’re going to fill their internship with the type of experiences only Miller Lite can deliver.”

A panel of judges will select 15 groups from the initial pool of entries. Groups that are selected will participate in a screening via an online video conference or in person at MillerCoors headquarters in Chicago. The winning group will hit the road from May 17 through May 30.
