The Moerlein Lager House will host a special beer tasting featuring Sierra Nevada Beer Camp collaboration brews at 6 p.m. Tuesday. (July 15) The event, limited to 115 people, will be held in the Cincinnati brewpub's beer garden.
Sierra Nevada teamed up with 12 brewers across the country to create special beers for its Beer Camp Across America program this year. (There are also seven major beer festivals being held around the country.)
Here's a rundown of the breweries and beers:

-- Bell's Brewery, Kalamazoo, Mich.: Maillard's Odyssey Imperial Dark Ale.
-- Cigar City Brewing, Tampa, Fla.: Yonder Bock Tropical Maibock.
-- Firestone Walker Brewing Co, Paso Robles, Calif.: Torpedo Pilsner.
-- New Glarus Brewing Co, New Glarus, Wisc.: There and Back English-Style Bitter.
-- Ninkasi Brewing Co, Eugene, Ore.: Double Latte Coffee milk Stout.
-- Oskar Blues Brewing Co, Longmont, Colo.: CANfusion Rye Bock.
-- Russian River Brewing Co, Santa Rosa, Calif.: Yvan the Great Belgian-Style Blonde.

Moerlein Lager House said it is the only location in Cincinnati offering the Beer Camp tasting and one of only four in Ohio. The tasting includes three flights and a small buffet. Each flight comes with four 4.5-ounce samples. Sierra Nevada will provide mats with the names of each beer and a description.
