Molson Coors launches beer for women in U.K.
Molson Coors is launching a low-alcohol beer in Britain aimed at women who shy away from drinking beer. Called Animee, it's "a sparkling alcoholic beverage with lemony and rose flavors," according to a story in the New York Daily News. The beer is only 4 percent alcohol. The brewer apparently is trying to attract the 79 percent of British women who steer clear of beer. To read the full story, click here.
