Mt. Carmel Brewing Co. outside Cincinnati held a "soft" opening for its new tap room last weekend and the place was packed, assistant brewer Patrick Clark said. He provided some photos (see below).
The hours for the tap room are noon to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday, with a brewery tour beginning at 1 p.m. The brewery encourages folks to call (513-240-BREW) or email (firstname.lastname@example.org) ahead to reserve a spot in the tour.
"We're no different than the barber down the street," Clark said in an email. "Walk-ins are welcome, but if last Saturday was any indication, we may have to leave some folks in the tasting room so the tours do not become overcrowded. We still want people to get a true appreciation for what we do here, but we can't have too many people tripping over the same hoses we trip over daily."
Pints are $4; four-ounce tastings are $1; and bottles are $3.50. Growlers are $6.99 for the refill and $9.99 if you need to purchase one. Mt. Carmel also sells cases and six-packs.
