Mt. Carmel Brewing Co. will host its second annual ART.CRAFT.BEER. event on Friday and Saturday (Feb. 7-8) as it turns the brewery into an art gallery. Artwork will be hung throughout the production facility, with fermenters and brewing equipment serving as the backdrop.
"Art exists within our brewery every day," President and co-founder Kathleen Dewey said in a prepared statement. "ART.CRAFT.BEER. is designed to simply add more."
In addition to the art, there will be live music from Neutral Sound and The Good Clark, and pulled pork from Eli’s Barbeque on Friday.
“We’re pulling out all the stops with this one,” Dewey said.
ART.CRAFT.BEER. -- which is held during Cincinnati Beer Week -- is 5 p.m. to midnight Friday and noon to 5 p.m. Saturday.
Because of the popularity of the event last year, Mt. Carmel is creating a heated beer garden outside where draft beer and barbecue will be served. A shuttle bus also is available to and from the brewery’s overflow lot at St. Veronica’s Parish.
