Naked Evil returns
Hoppin' Frog Brewery in Akron will release a new batch of its award-winning Barrel Aged Naked Evil Belgian Barley Wine on June 22.
The beer won a bronze medal in the barrel-aged strong ale category at last year's Great American Beer Festival. So the brewery made more over the winter.
"Now, we just tasted the barrels, and they are ready!" owner and brewer Fred Karm wrote in an email.
Hoppin' Frog will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, and Barrel Aged Naked Evil will be available on a first-come, first served basis. The brewery also will be open from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday. The price is $18.99 per bottle, same as last year. There is a maximum three case limit per adult customer.
