The new Cincinnati brewery being launched by friends Whit Hesser, Blake Horsburgh and Bobby Slattery is getting closer to opening. (But they still haven't chosen an official name for their brewery, which is located in the former Heritage Restaurant on Wooster Pike in Mariemont.)
Hesser and Horsburgh posted a progress update this week on their blog Brewing with Friends, noting that they are hoping for state approval this week and to start brewing beer "very, very soon." They also posted some pictures of their brewing equipment.
"With the brewery side of the renovation finishing up this week, we are in high gear trying to get the taproom/fireside room/lounge/restrooms/biergarten renovated," they wrote. "It has been such a cool experience seeing the transformation of the historic Heritage building into the new brewery concept. We have tried to keep much of the historic feel to the building while giving it some necessary updates."
